Welcome to Stateline Football 2023 Fall football team!
My name is Andy Pepin and I am the director of the State Line Football Program. I am excited for the season to get started and I am happy to report that we have a lot of exciting improvements we are making to the program.
- This communication is going out to return players. Please take a moment to think about who you know who might be interested in playing football this fall and forward this message. If you are a member of a Facebook parent group or know the gym teacher or athletic director at your children’s school please feel free to share this information with them. The State Line Football Team is not affiliated with any local organization so information about it is spread through word of mouth.
- We will be holding a parent meeting on July 12th at 6 pm at Schouler Park.
- We now have a team webpage www.mwveagles.com. It is still under construction but it is a great resource to find information on our program, the registration form, and an online payment option will be available soon.
- Registration link is also on the League Website
- We have started a Facebook page where general information and events will be posted.
- Once the season has started we will be using an app called Band. This is an app used by the Kennett Football team and several others to communicate information about practices and games. Once we have everyone registered we will direct you to the link to download which will give you access for Team communications.
- Every year we purchase new equipment to make sure athletes are well-protected and have the proper gear. This year is no exception and we will be providing new shoulder pads and padded pants for all players. We have purchased several new helmets and continue to evaluate what is needed to be successful and safe.
- We are happy to share with you that we are going to have more teams join the league and provide additional opportunities for our teams to play other teams in the region. We will also be having Cheer & Dance this year which will be led by Scott Nattrass. Very Exciting News!!!
- Tryouts for new players will be on Wednesday, August 1st. If your child is a new player we strongly encourage you to attend the parents meeting on July 12th. More information regarding the tryouts will be emailed and posted on the State Football Facebook page.
- Returning players will have their first practice on August 3rd at 6 pm at Schouler Park.
